Went around looking for pole art, found quite a few and photographed them. I put the GeoLocation on the photos, but found that it is not super accurate. This makes it hard to identify the exact locations of the poles, but I've sorted them into the streets for now. Some streets are quite long so this isn't going to work long term. I think that next time I might record the street address for each pole, as that is a more definite location.
I will need to do a rescan of the poles I have done to get the street addresses, but also need to reshoot some poles. Should I start a spreadsheet for all the poles? Yes, I think that is a good idea.s
I have come up with a plan on how to get all this art and store it. I will need to go street by street and photograph the stoby poles, and then mark off the streets that are done. I am thinking maybe two or three streets a week should get most of this done by the end of the year.
